From the initial black and white “bulk” size to the later projection TVs, ultra-thin LCD TVs, plasma TVs. The rapid development of technology has brought about innovations in TV sets. With the emergence of large and small TV stations at all levels, program production has become more and more dazzling, especially the combination of internet technology and TV technology, the function of TV has become increasingly influential.
Through the small screen window of the TV set, my grandmother and the family see the colourful world advancing with the times and let them realise from one side that the economic development of mainland China and the rapid changes of people’s lives.
The spiritual support of neighbours and villagers after a meal
There are many ways to perceive the objective world, but people know the world through television, and the amount of information they obtain is far more than other methods.
Although as early as 1958, China produced the first black-and-white TV, however in the countryside, the appearance of black-and-white TVs should have been in the 1970s, the era of the collective economy. It was only after this that farmers began to gradually get rid of the radio and radio, seeing “moving pictures”.
“You can see people moving on the small screen, and the original image can be moved to the screen, which is much cooler than listening to radio and radio. Watching TV after dinner is the most luxurious entertainment.” My grandmother said. “TV was a rare thing at the time because the price was so high that most people couldn’t afford it. We only had one black-and-white TV in the local supply and marketing cooperatives, the government and the hospital. After a day of idle work, there were groups of people from all villages will rush to these three places, or squat or stand and watch TV next to the TV. “Since the new thing about TV, everyone’s enthusiasm for watching TV series was unstoppable with no exaggeration at all.”
A black-and-white TV set and a TV series that make people talk about it can relax oneself while making people nervous or excited. Now, although TV sets have to get into ordinary people’s homes and the contents are becoming more and more colourful, the simple and lively scenes of the past are still often missed.
Nowadays, neither LCD TVs nor smart TVs are scarce things. They have become necessities of life. People can learn about the world by sitting in front of the TV. Various types of TV programs have greatly enriched people’s daily lives. It can be seen that the dividend of reform and development is benefiting people’s lives.
